Important Details About Poster Making Contest

  1. You must be between Kindergarten-Grade 12
  2. You must obtain your parent’s, legal guardian’ or teachers prior permission to enter the Competition.
  3. Your parent, legal guardian or teacher must provide his/her own contact details and indicate its consent to these Rules.
  4. Each Participant can post only one Poster.
  5. Submission of more than one entry by a participant will amount to disqualification.
  6. The poster must be made on the A3 size (11.7 * 16.5 inches) sheet with margins (0.5 inches) drawn with black pen/marker and you will need to take a photo or scan of it to send electronically.
  7. Poster can be made using pencil, crayon, watercolour, oil paint, etc. Photographs, wires, other 3D objects, print-outs, templates won’t be acceptable. (Flaps are allowed as long as the poster still makes sense without the flaps being lifted.)
  8. It should be original and hand made.
  9. The Topic of poster and theme should be clearly mentioned at the Top Margin of the Poster.
  10. Posters must be uploaded with entrant details:
    a) Entrant first name and entrant grade/class
    b) Please note, the data submitted will be used for the administration of the competition. First names, ages and schools of students may also be shared on our website and social media pages – if you do not want this data to be shared online you should make this explicitly clear in your submission, and we will only share school name. Entries that do not include details of the entrants (see above) in the entry form will not be eligible to win a prize.
  11. The participant should submit the picture/ photo of the poster in JPG/PNG file format only (file size must not exceed 1 MB).
  12. Content of the poster should not be obscene or hurt any religious, linguistic or social sentiment.
  13. The entry should be original. Entries copies from someone else will not be considered. Work must be original and created by the student(s) – please do not use any templates.
  14. Winners will be notified via the email submitted through the online form.
  15. Prizes will be posted to the school address submitted via the online form.
  16. There is an entry fee of $10.
  17. Entrant’s name, age and school name will be announced on social media and on our website.
  18. If you do not wish for this data to be shared you should make this explicit on the entry form.
  19. Entries may be displayed and used for marketing, with only first names used.
  20. Prizes are non-transferable.
  21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Once your poster is ready, then fill the online registration form above. Once you click the submit button, it will redirect you to the payment page, where you have to pay the fee Once fee is paid it will redirect you to the submission form where you need to share the following:

  1.  Clear Picture of your Poster
  2. Clear Picture of you holding the poster in your hand, Landscape Format
  3. ID Proof (College ID, Passport, Resident Permit, Birth Certificate etc..)
  4. Fill Details required in the form, including the Transaction Number.
  1. Relevance to the theme (20 %)
  2. Originality (20 %)
  3. Creativity (20 %)
  4. Artistic composition (20 %)
  5. Message conveyed in the poster (20 %)

The average of the marks awarded by the 3 judges should be calculated. The average marks thus calculated shall be the final marks for a particular candidate. 

  1. The Jury’s decision will be final.
    GEMA holds the right to publish the posters in their other media in future
  2. The registered candidates are considered to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the contest
    GEMA can exercise its jurisdiction in adjusting the norms and pattern of the contest, if required.
  3. GEMA reserve the right to take appropriate action for any unethical, unprofessional and immoral conduct.
    GEMA’s decision regarding interpretation of rules or any other matter related to competition will be final.
  4. If there is any situation not contemplated in the rules, GEMA’s decision on the same shall be final. 
  1. There will be 1 Winner in each Category, who will get a Trophy and a Certificate. First Runner Up and Second Runner Up who will get a Trophy and a Certificate.
  2. 5 Additional Inspiring and Outstanding Posters in each category will be given Medals and a Certificate.
  3. Every participant will get a Certificate.
  1. Each school can enter any number of participants, there is no maximum or minimum participation limit.
  2. We encourage you to run the competition with larger groups to maximise the chances of securing winning spots.
  3. Schools can either ask students to submit entries individually or they can collect all entries and email us to club@gemajr.com along with this student detail file.
  4. Once we receive the student posters, we will generate a combined single payment link for schools.
  5. Teacher Incharge will receive an appreciation certificate along with a Gift and a Trophy for the School.
